- Barbeque Sauce - Barbeque sauce is essential for adding flavor and keeping the meatloaf juicy and moist.

- 2lbs ground venison
- 1 cup cracker crumbs (about 20 crackers)
- ¾ cup barbeque sauce, divided
- 1-15oz can tomato paste
- 1 egg
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1.5 Tablespoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Add the ground venison, cracker crumbs, ½ cup barbeque sauce, egg, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and spices to a large bowl.
- Mix all of the ingredients together until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan.
- Spread the remaining ¼ cup barbeque sauce over the top of the meat.
- Place the pan in the oven and cook for 60-70 minutes at 350 degrees or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- Remove the pan from the oven and allow the meatloaf to cool before cutting into slices to serve.
