This crockpot BBQ pulled pork recipe is a great slower cooker pork recipe perfect for easy weeknight dinners and meal prep.
Ingredients
- 1-3lb pork shoulder
- 1 cup barbeque sauce
- ½ cup broth
- 2 Tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Place the pork shoudler in the crockpot.
- Combine the spices in a bowl and sprinkle the spices on top of the pork shoulder.
- Combine the BBQ sauce, broth and mustard in a bowl.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the pork shoulder.
- Place the lid on top of the slow cooker and program it to cook for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. We recommend cooking the pork shoulder on low for 6-8 hours for best results.
- The pork is done cooking when it is easy to pull it apart with two forks and reaches an internal temperature of 205 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Shred the pork and mix the pulled pork with the sauce in the crockpot befor serving.
