Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning ( + water per the packet instructions)
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 15 tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook over medium to brown the beef.
- Turn the burner to low and add the taco seasoning and the appropriate amount of water according to the seasoning packet instructions.
- Stir to combine the seasoning and the meat.
- Add 4 ounces cream cheese to the skillet and stir to combine and allow the cream cheese to melt into the meat.
- When the cream cheese is completely combined with the meat, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Assemble the taquitos by adding a spoonful or two of meat to a tortillas with cheese then rolling the tortilla up.
- Place the rolled tortillas in a line on the sheet pan.
- When all of the taquitos are assembled, place the pan in the oven.
- Bake for 7 minutes at 350 degrees.
- After 7 minutes use a spatula to flip the taquitos over.
- Bake for an additional 7-8 minutes.
- Remove the baked taquitos from the oven and flip back over so the seam side is down.
